Visual diary of a week in Cornwall

I was likely enough to have been invited to stay with my boyfriend’s family for a week in Cornwall as his Uncle has a home in a quaint small village there. Cornwall itself is beautiful and the places we visited are so scenic that it a dream to photograph. Here is a little visual diary of where we went…

Cornwall is famous for its beaches as they’re ideal for surfing and of course that what the boys did! I found it a little too chilly for my liking (well it is october!) so I just watched and took photos.

We had to take a quick boat ride across to Padstow as there is a river that runs between where we parked and the town.

Padstow is a beautiful port surrounded by sandy beaches and at the head of Camel River. It’s a charming little village with old fashioned brick buildings, with low ceilings and small doors. It’s well known for its fresh fish, ice cream and fudge. It’s not a huge place but you definitely spend an afternoon here exploring the local shops and pubs.

This is the beautiful Port Isaac – Famous for being the home town to the TV series Doc Martin.

Chris took a snap of me looking at Doc Martin’s house (the small one in the middle)

I’ve always been a fan of Cornwall and have been before but never to these quaint little ports and villages. I would definitely recommend Padstow and Port Isaac, although both small, are great for lunch or pub trips!
